Phat Inc. is a dynamic collective of young musicians rooted in the vibrant Hudson Valley music scene, Formed by two friends, Leo belsky, and Ivan Tomayo, Phat Inc. is rapidly gaining recognition for their innovative sound and electrifying performances blending elements of Jazz, Funk, Rock, and beyond. Their Debut Album Phat I was well received and with their small following, have been steadily building a musical experience that resonates with audiences everywhere. Whether headlining local venues, supporting community events, or sharing the stage with other rising talents, Phat Inc. is a testament to the power of young artistry, community, and the timeless appeal of live music.

Extended Bio

Formed in 2023 by two friends Leo Belsky, and Ivan Tamayo, Phat Inc. started as a playful project doing local gigs and engaging with the community. Throughout the years Phat Inc has grown into a collective of musicians that strive for excellence in musicality and are committed to bringing quality performance to any event.

Phat Inc. stared out gigging weekly in the town of Hudson at Isaan Thai star (Where they still play) and Backbar (Where they still play). Expanding out of Hudson into Kinderhook, Kingston, Red hook, and Hastings on Hudson has grown Phat Inc’s audience and helped spread their sound around the Hudson Valley.

The group has grown with connections to Bard College students (Micah Kelleher, Cedaniel Sumpter) and many of Leo Belsky’s childhood friends, All of which contribute to Phat Inc’s sound. Collaborating with different local artists and venues Phat Inc. environment is a testimate to the power of young artistry, community, and the timeless appeal of live music.
